Luxitune Skull Series

Swarovski Crystal, Gold Plated Violin Fine Tuner

Pavé Ball Iridescent-Rhodium Fine Tuner

Luxitune | Pavé Ball Iridescent/Rhodium Fine Tuner

Having already purchased a Luxitune Pave Ball Series fine tuner in 2012, I was interested to see how the new highly anticipated skull design would compare.

The Skull Series is not for the shy and retiring! Inspired by the high-fashion edgy designs of Alexander McQueen and Damien Hirst, it’s definitely a head turning piece!

The main jeweled body is very well made, very sparkly and weighty but not in so much that it affects the sound in any way.

It was easy to install without any tools and I didn’t experience any buzzing. Being a professional musician this is always an important consideration.

If you want to be a little more discreet with your bling, I highly recommend the Luxitune Pave Ball fine tuner, but this is definitely a fun and unisexed addition to your violin  – especially for those wanting to channel their dark side!

Luxitune fine tuners are designed by Manhattan jewellery designer HyeJun Park and Metropolitan Opera violinist Katherine Fong. They are crafted from a Hill-style Wittner E string tuner and are constructed from genuine iridescent Swarovski crystals, rhodium and 14k gold plating.
